Start with the office that controls the record you need. A recent county arrest is usually a jail or sheriff records question. Filed charges and court dates are handled by the Clerk of Courts and Wisconsin court search tools. State prison and supervision records are separate from Sauk County jail custody, and Wisconsin VINE is a custody notification system rather than a complete booking-record file.
